In my current role I work on a team to run full-cycle payroll for 500+ union employees — ensuring accuracy and timely pay while adhering to Union agreements and Provincial and Federal labour laws, issuing ROEs, on-boarding new hires into Eclipse and Bid 2 Win. I have assisted in setting up new union agreements into said systems and helped train Project Administrators on the union requirements. I worked as a Project Administrator prior to moving into Payroll, which involved reviewing and confirming employee time and cost codes for various work sites and ensuring the union agreements and labour laws are followed and troubleshooting where necessary, reaching out to project managers, superintendents, and foremen. My previous position involved time entry for 300 employees in SAP Blueprint, acting as a System Administrator in Schedule Pro, SharePoint site management, developing job aids and virtually training a new employee based in Chennai, India. I completed daily analysis on timesheets and system issues to ensure company pay practices are followed. Prior experience includes contractor time management within TRACK and SAP Blueprint/GSAP. I assisted my team with data refinements such as schedule revisions, process streamlining, distribution of daily active work orders, purchase order reconciliation between vendors and C&P, as well as general daily approvals/rejections to ensure efficient, accurate payment of vendors (700 contractors) and accuracy of contract terms. A large portion of my role involved troubleshooting and data analysis for both the contract holder and vendor alike. I have performed other various administrative duties, including Controlled Documents, Livelink and SharePoint data migration, organization, and site setup. I also worked in SAP Blueprint in a Maintenance setting, running Key Performance Indicators and analyzing reports. I am very familiar with MS Office, including Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am currently pursuing my Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification and have obtained my Business Analyst Certificate from NAIT. I wish to expand my knowledge of payroll processes in order to increase payroll efficiency, join a supportive team, contribute to the businesses success, and have fun at work.
