I was in charge of overall development of the Best Buy Teen Tech Center. I worked alongside the architect & construction teams to ensure the development stayed within budget, and time line. I enlisted the support of the Mayor’s office to facilitate speedy processing of permits. I worked with the overall team to oversee compliance with building codes, ADA, zoning and safety regulations. I developed the operational plan including annual budget. I secured the team necessary in running the tech center. I helped in the implementation of systems and processes. I brought in community partners who contributed in Bootcamps and tech training. The Best Buy Teen Tech Center is a thriving resources for youth of South Central LA to explore their passions and ambitions in tech. I am honored to have been a part of it.
