As a professor of typography, I brought my students through the history of typography to where we are today. They learned about the anatomy of type, the four principles of good typographic design, and applied those lessons to a multitude of lessons I crafted. My goal with them was to help them appreciate creative and experimental typographic design.

Buncombe County, NC

Children First commissioned an infographic dealing with poverty and nutrition in Buncombe County schools for print and web distribution. After a few iterations, we arrived at a design both beautiful and informative. Message me if you would like to see the final product.

Designed a series of half-page ads for magazine distribution, five marquis banner ads, and developed the website for the Norcross, GA ABC.

In addition to normal retail responsibilities, I hand-personalized toys with paint pens according to customer preference. This included a kid's name, usually with a custom font, and a graphic of their choice (ranging from favorite dinosaur plush toy to an epic battle between Spiderman riding on the back of a firetruck and Darth Vader in his TIE fighter!).
