Human Resources Manager
CurrentAs the Human Resource Manager at Oshkosh Coil Spring, I am responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.Recruit, interview, and hire, for the entire plant for hourly and all salary positionsTrain new staff in the HR departmentOversee the daily workflow of the HR departmentProvide constructive and timely performance evaluations for the departmentDistribute reviews for all exempt and non-exempt employeesHandle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policyCollaborate with senior leadership to meet all organization goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retentionPlan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to ensure compliance and strategy needsAdminister, and oversee the administration of human resource programs: compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and developmentConduct research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organizations human resource information system (HRIS)Monitor and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsReview and modify policies and practices to maintain complianceMaintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment lawEffectively communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management
