• Organized the GAFFT Alliance, an international textile coalition which contained over 60 textile trade associations to influence textile policy during the Doha Round of trade talks.
• Successfully filed 15 industry safeguard petitions regarding China on textiles; this led to the negotiation of a three year bilateral textile agreement with China.
• Principal industry advisor in over 30 textile bilateral agreements.
• Worked with the Obama campaign to produce a Textile Industry Position paper, the only industry group to receive specific issue commitments, including trade commitments.
• Successfully worked with the Administration to ensure strong textile “rules of origin” in the CAFTA, Peru, Colombia, Australia, Korea and Chile agreements.
