Built and maintained transmitter/studio site. Led recovery of transmitter site after fire. Returned to air 48 hours after fire at reduced power, and full power in one week. Thru analysis of heat load, implemented a insulation and isolation of heat exchanger hot cooling ; liquid. Kept the energy cost at the same level for over 10 years in spite of utility rate hikes. Designed and built and implemented a small automation system for master control.Designed an interface for remote control that could be viewed via the internet.Transitioned the station from analog to DTV, both studio and transmitter. Site was beta site for development by L-3 of their replacement IOT.Acted as consultant for unusual problems associated with Comark/Thales transmitters among ION Network transmitter sites.My transmitter site was considered the Queen of the Ion Network, for the cleanliness, and maintenance of the site. All copper and brass was cleaned and polished annually.Interviewed, hired, and trained staff of 6 MCR operators and assistant engineer.

Maintained cable television head ends for largest system in the GE cable company.Designed combiner networks for the headends.did extensive travel during the expansion of GE cable to do analysis of equipment, and design and document headend design drawings.Oversaw the converter repair department.
