Petroleum Engineer with more than 39 years of experience in reservoir engineering; Magister Scientiarum in Administrative Sciences, Production Administration (MBA); Experience as a teacher at the engineering school of the Universidad de Oriente, VenezuelaCurrently, he is a freelance working as consulting, adviser, instructor, software developer in the oil reservoir engineering.During the last 2 years in PDVSA, he worked as adviser for performing dynamic simulation studies and EOR processes in the reservoirs of the Orinoco Oil Belt (OOB). Also, he led the elaboration of an early productive Master plan for the cretaceous reservoirs in the OOB. Since 2011 to may 2014, he served as Reservoir Development Technical Manager in the joint venture "Operaciones Río Napo CEM", in Ecuador, where he contributed to the 53% of oil production increase and 60% of increase of the remaining oil reserves in the Sacha mature field.Since 2002 to 2010, he held various management positions in the area of Reservoir Integrated Studies and hydrocarbons reserves.Since 1978 to 2001, he served as reservoir engineer for Extra-heavy crude exploitation and production units, performing tasks of reservoir engineering, tutoring, monitoring and coordinating the development of reservoir simulation studies (dynamic model). Also, he worked on integrated studies, defining reservoirs exploitation strategies, evaluating and determining the hydrocarbons recoverable reserves.He served as engineer and supervisor in charge of the reservoirs operations for the exploitation and production of crude light, medium, heavy and extra-heavy, and also, elaborating the operational programs for drilling and workovers.He has participated in multidisciplinary teams (Geosciences & Petroleum Engineering) to perform more than 50 studies of reservoir engineering.He has published more than 10 technical papers at national and international pretroleum conferences.
