Determined pH of tomato plant leaves to assess the effectiveness of foliar micronutrients application. Utilized Raman Spectroscopy to observe Raman spectrums from which pH calibration curves were generated. Prepared gold nanoparticles and gold nanoparticle probes and analyzed their characteristics with a photospectrometer and a zeta potential analyzer.

Worked in MicroStation developing Autoturns (WB-62s). Utilized PondPack for e-spill way design involving risers, culverts, and orifices. Performed assessment of 100/500-year storms on waterways and designed culverts to accommodate these storms using HEC RAS. Performed crash analyses to recommend improvements for inadequate intersections. Analyzed intersections to determine sufficiency of traffic signal warrants. Conducted an AutoZone site plan exercise to plan utility, parking, trash, landscaping, and road layouts.

I had the privilege of working with Pons & Associates as a geotechnical engineering intern. I worked on-site performing slump and air entrainment tests to assess concrete consistency and workability. I routinely caste concrete cylinder molds and transported them to a lab for compressive and tensile strength assessment. Additionally, I performed optical monitoring to analyze the movement of structures, learned the fundamentals of reading site plans to verify rebar placement, and prepared job sites for drilling.
