• Responsible for the repair and maintaining of all production equipment in the Stamping Department to include 3 highly automated Tandem Press lines, Blanking line, Laser Welder, and Scrap Conveying Systems.• Perform daily equipment inspections to checks for abnormal situations, and repair or document follow up work needed to maintain reliability.• Preventative maintenance and continuous improvement of equipment and tools as required in order to guarantee safety, quality and delivery targets of department.• Assist in equipment modifications and upgrades as required to support business plan initiatives, new model requirements, or other retooling requirements.• Document all machine downtime, work performed , checking of part inventory/part ordering, and creating follow up work needed using MAXIMO CMMS.• Troubleshooting of Mitsubishi MELSEC-Q Series PLCs using GX Developer and Mitsubishi GOT 1000/2000 HMIs using MELSOFT GT Works software• Extensive troubleshooting and fault resolution of DeviceNet network cabling and devices for the department blanking line.• Perform manual robot homing using teach pendants for 7 Fanuc robots in department.
