Founder / CreatorGetting Lost Sep 2014 - PresentNew ZealandThe Getting Lost Game is a real world adventure game I invented, make, market and sell around the world. I launched this off the back of a travel blog of the same name in 2018 and launched this worldwide in 2021. Getting Lost is a socially led, adaptive brand taking all the years of experience in advertising that always made me say "I wish we could just make something that was designed around the consumer rather than making them fit what we have to sell". We've sold over 300,000 games around the world and we're just getting started! We have 36 Getting Lost Editions and a retail presence in 450 stores in Australia and New Zealand.I've won multiple awards for Getting Lost, including the Supreme Business Award at the 2degrees Auckalnd Business Awards and have been a finalist in the NZ International Business Awards and the Next Her Own Business awards and interviewed on radio, podcasts, TV, newspapers and magazines. When I started out I had an ambition to make $10,000. I did that in 6 weeks and now it's a multi million dollar export company employing 21 people. For the first 2 years after I launched the Getting Lost games I did this in nights and weekends while still working a full time job and raising 3 kids. Many of you probably worked with me during this time and had no idea that I was doing this until the wee hours, so close to complete break down at times. For the next 3 years I worked part time in other roles while working well beyond a fulltime capacity for Getting Lost so from June 2023 I'm so proud to call it my full time gig.www.gettinglost.co.nz -
