As Assistant Manager of Marmadukes Cafe from its inception I provided support for business planning, concept design, market research, menu design and interior design. In 2013 I lead the establishment of the Down to Earth Project. This provided a ‘farm to fork’ supply chain from Lane End Farm Trust to Marmadukes Cafe to maximise the use of sustainable, local produce.I assisted the owner of Marmadukes to set up the event catering branch of the business. Including bespoke event set-up and catering.I have extensive experience as a highly trained Barista. My skills include technical knowledge of equipment, expertise in espresso and hand brewing, and the training of beginner baristas.

Conference Coordinator: I led a 15 member team to deliver a successful conference with over 250 attendees and 16 esteemed speakers. Over four months I assembled and interviewed a team and coordinated the team in their various roles including speaker liaison, fundraising, publicity, and event logistics. Coordinating a large team and delivering a professional and sizeable conference was a challenge which I relished and which proved to be a great success. This required excellent communication skills, a high level of professionalism, and finely tuned organisation and time management.

Secretary of the Amnesty Society at the University of Bristol. I produced and delivered the weekly e-newsletter, helped to organise events, researched Amnesty International campaigns, and facilitated communication with Amnesty UK head office.I was part of a team who attended the Amnesty International Student Conference in London, where we received training in research and campaigning.

Helping to develop the social skills of disadvantaged youngsters through immersion in a rural environment. Working closely with NACRO (National Association for the Care and Resettlement of Offenders) to help disadvantaged young offenders achieve an NVQ Level 1 Qualification.
