FounderKennett Area Women'S (35+) Lacrosse Aug 2021 - PresentKennett SquareThe bOld Lax team was created because of a desire to find time for grown women to PLAY. We often live vicariously through our children as we get older, so I wanted to create an opportunity for women to gather and be the player in our own game for a change. The program was so successful in the fall of 2021, we created another season in the spring and then played in a tournament in Lake Placid in the summer! It has been one of the most rewarding volunteer efforts I have ever created because of very vivaciously vocal women who have told me how much it's made an impact in their lives. I'm so grateful for my awesome community.
