This role requires me to fulfill duties in absence of director. During the summer months I supervise all administrative and summer staff as well as assisting in the management of budget and vendor accounts. I am responsible for working with our director to train all staff on the summer curriculum and their roles and responsibilities during the summer.During the year my role requires me to research and coordinate all summer field trips for Pre-K through 5th grade. I also assisted in the design and implementation of the new program curriculum for our 3 different camp locations in Maryland.

I prepared and taught lessons for all learning levels in a class of 33 students. I planned progressive lessons to ensure pupil development in all curricular areas and used a variety of assessment techniques to ensure pupils were meeting academic goals. I attended weekly planning meetings and continued professional development classes. In addition to this I led a ‘Musical Theater’ after school club and oversaw the production of their end of year performance (including writing the script and choreographing the show)
