I love HR and I started my HR career as a HR Transition and Transformation Manager in 2001, working across all HR continuous improvement projects for clients. I specialised in talent acquisition and management moving into a Global Talent Acquisition Service Delivery and Innovation role in 2006 managing over 15,000 hires pa across 45 countries. In order to do this efficiently, whilst attracting the top talent, I worked with Accenture strategy to identify the trends in the market to form a digital candidate and hiring, on boarding and talent management experience for Asia, Africa, Europe, North and South America regions. Alongside this role I am an ongoing Talent Acquisition Capability lead providing subject matter expert to wider clients and internally on talent business challenge solutions and innovation.I moved into a HR Global Senior Manager role, focussing on driving innovation across talent, reward and payroll, to support a seamless digital employee experience and automated solutions driving accuracy and engagement to over 80,000 employees. Talent acquisition and HR moves fast and especially since we work in a hybrid model, engagement is critical. I work with our technical teams to strategise and develop agile capability to support the demand of Accenture and our clients workforces. Our solutions help us to identify top talent quicker, provide enhanced candidate and employee digital experiences to ensure they are supported, engaged, recognised and continually learning throughout their employee journey. Through leveraging AI, automation and robotic solutions this takes the pressure from our HR specialists in order to focus on the candidate, employee and manager experience providing the human touch.One of our key focus areas is also ensuring we support our employees mental health, through utilising mental health triggers and analytics this provides insights to help prevent and enable actions to support our employees. The delivery aspect of my role involves managing global teams to ensure service performance, metrics, compliance and cost control are all managed effectively. As the teams are virtual to ensure we keep engagement and enthusiasm through building our communities and capabilities.
