In addition to my responsibilities in Europe, I expanded my scope to include African countries and Iraq. My goal was to contribute to business expansion in these regions while strengthening the security infrastructure supporting existing operations.This new assignment had a strong operational focus, requiring multiple site visits to high-risk countries. I led the development and implementation of Emerson's security programs and crisis management strategies across Europe, CIS countries, and Israel, serving as the primary liaison with international, national, and local law enforcement agencies.A key aspect of my role was identifying and communicating strategic security threats and geopolitical issues to senior leadership, enabling informed business decisions. I was accountable for designing and implementing the Loss Prevention strategy at OMV Petrom, focusing on investigating and resolving high-impact loss issues while aligning with the overall business strategy. In this capacity, I served as a trusted security advisor to senior management and leaders across the organization, leveraging high-level communication and briefing skills.I managed and influenced budgets exceeding €2.5 million annually, overseeing various projects including threat detection, security risk assessments, incident reporting, and the deployment of physical security technology.Collaborating closely with the Resilience function within my team, we supported Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) by organizing and facilitating workshops and integrating the results into the overall Business Continuity Planning. Additionally, we conducted tabletop exercises with Crisis and Emergency Management Teams at both strategic and tactical levels.

I held overall accountability for advising local management on OMV Petrom Upstream's HSSE strategy, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and operational practices.Alongside my team, including safety officers on offshore platforms, I supported local site leaders in conducting risk assessments within their areas of responsibility. I also personally performed risk assessments in specific installations, conducted site inspections and audits, and provided guidance to managers where corrective actions were needed - all with the goal of strengthening the safety and security culture.

In addition to my role as Resilience Manager, I was entrusted with a second role as Senior Project Manager, focused on strengthening the HSSE culture within the company.Reporting directly to the Corporate HSSE Director, my key responsibilities included managing cross-functional and cross-divisional HSSE projects, evaluating outcomes alongside department heads, and presenting status reports to the HSSE Director and, when necessary, the Executive Board.Many of these projects involved navigating the 'grey areas' of national legislation, requiring close collaboration with various central authorities. To support these efforts, I established official communication channels with the relevant institutions and served as the technical single point of contact (SPOC), contributing to the successful completion of these initiatives.A notable public achievement in this context was the 'Gebeleizis 17' offshore military drill, where I served as the Project Manager representing the company. I coordinated with external participants, including institutions from the National System of Defense, while managing a diverse array of internal stakeholders, such as Executive Board members, local leadership in Constanța, and offshore platform representatives.

Additionally, I led training initiatives and practical exercises, including drills and tabletop exercises, involving Executive Board members and national authorities to ensure readiness and effective crisis response.
