Software Architect
CurrentResponsabilities• Design product architectures (both centralized and decentralized architectures, depending on product needs)• Design backend services and also frontend operational and customer journey• Frontal with clients to understand their needs and translate them in technical approaches• Design modules and features based on minimum of description and/or clients needs, define their scope and closely follow their implementation• Early diagram definitions for end customer journeys, used by graphical design team to prepare the GUI• Create product technical specifications (API specs and SDKs to be used by 3rd party developers)• Evaluate products with Project Managers, estimate dev time and work availability• Team lead for 10 people (3 desktop developers, 3 web developers, 3 end user application developers, 1 release manager); 1 developer of each being junior, the other ones being medium-senior or senior• Decisions about 3rd party modules and tools to be used in the products (acquisitions included)• Define high level user acceptance tests for released products• Keep products on the right track avoiding disturbances (internal and external challenges)• Scale SW products to business needs• Involved in company product business models definitions (SaaS and licensed based)• Agile methodology with 2 weeks sprints• Define team members positions and hiringAchievements• Designed, developed and rollout ATP platform (Acrelec TransformationPlatform); a complete cloud solution similar to Apple Store forWindows devices which includes: park management, 3rd partyApp development, App validation and deploy, real time web simulator,abstract physical devices integration (payments, printers,scanners, nfcreaders, cameras), real time monitoring, installed on 20+ countries for major clients: McDonalds, YUM, BurgerKing, Walmart, ASDA)• SW products delivered to 55.000+ devices (non-Mobile)• Grow a great team from 2 to 10 in 3.5 years
