I went out of the country to work as an Intern Practical Trainee in Japan. I worked in Robapan Co., Ltd., a baking factory in Hokkaido, as a baker. As an Overseas Filipino Worker(OFW), I faced and survived the challenges of being away from my family and my hometown. I speak and write in Japanese and even passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 3(JLPT N3) exam. For almost 4 years working in a totally different environment and people, I learned new ways and perspectives to approach challenges in the workplace.
