My responsibilities included leading partnership efforts with elderly day care centers, coordinating and managing a field work team of 6 people for implementation of a holistic protocol for assessment of biopsychosocial information. The goal of this project is to provide elderly day care centers and patients with better information that enables both centers and patients manage their health. A key outcome of this project so far was the digitisation of a paper based instrument, leading to a revolution in the speed and scale of psycho information availability.

ResearcherNova Medical School - Faculdade De Ciências Médicas Feb 2011 - Aug 2013Lisbon Area, PortugalAs part of the research team of the ENVIRH project, my responsibilities included the coordination of the data collection efforts in 40 daycare centers in Lisbon and Porto. I successful created and implemented the concept of a green line available at a national level, where parents with sick children could call and directly talk to someone in the medical team. This line enabled a fast response to sick children leading to an increased agility in virus detection in the population. The success of this project lead to twice as many parents calling when compared to previous national phone line efforts and enabled a level of engagement by parents and medical professionals that is still the highest standard to this day.Given the success achieved with this project, its methodology was replicated in the GERIA project, focused on respiratory diseases and indoor air assessment in elderly patients in home care centers, to an even greater success.
