At Empremédia, I am the Account Executive of Secil Group, helping them manage their full insurance portfolio not only in Portugal but also in Brazil, Tunisia, Lebanon, Angola, Cape Verde, Netherlands and Spain. I love challenges and managing an insurance portfolio like Secil, with an overall global premium of ~9M€ requires me to be constantly attentive and available and it has been a learning experience. Supporting this complex portfolio full of branches such as Property (covering Material Damage, Machine Breakdown, Business Interruption and Stocks) but also other branches such as Personal Accidents, Work Accidents, Life, Travel, Credit, Multi-risks, several Liabilities, Motor, Transportation, etc.Also I’m the Quality System Manager, certified according to ISO 9001:2015 standard requirements and making sure that the company’s policy is implemented.

Part of the Information Systems team, providing support in various Knowledge Management projects, across the organization that seek to define, design and implement solutions that help The Navigator Company to effectively manage, store and make available important information to the group performance.

Based on an on-the-job learning and experience, this program exposed me to develop activities/projects in 3 different business areas: corporate, commercial and industrial. As part of the Information Systems Department, I developed Projects in the field of Knowledge Management implementing them in Maintenance, Madrid Sales Office and Industrial Department.

Internship in the Environment, Quality, Research and Product Development Department (QA&ID) at Sovena Portugal, collaborating in the design, development and implementation of the Document Management and Product Development Workflow platform in the group’s offices and factories.

Internship for my Master's Dissertation in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at the Sovena Oilseeds Portugal SA plant, on “Calculation of Greenhouse Gas Emissions from the Life Cycles of Soybean and Rapeseed Biodiesel Produced at Sovena Oilseeds” according to the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC).
