Responsibilities include:-Draft and negotiate complex agreements, with focus on SAAS, advertising agency, sponsorship, marketing, data processing, ad tech, and other vendor agreements.-Manage all internal and co-sponsored sweepstakes, contests, and other promotions, including drafting rules and disclosures and providing legal advice relating to promotions.-Establish and conduct training for marketing team on right of publicity law, sweepstakes, contests, influencer marketing and NBA-specific regulations.-Manage rights clearance on advertising campaigns and ensure compliance with advertising law, intellectual property law, company guidelines, and NBA rules in such campaigns.-Advise on applicable consumer protection laws and regulations, including FTC and advertising industry policy, CAN-SPAM, TCPA and COPPA.-Advise on applicable data privacy laws and regulations, and manage company privacy policy and digital terms of use.-Manage CRM-related issues, including contract negotiations and third-party product add-ons.-Create and negotiate work for hire agreements, location releases, and footage licenses.-Co-point person for Pacers Sports & Entertainment as partner in the Techstars Sports Accelerator Powered by Indy.-Provide legal support to the business in other substantive areas of law as needed.
