Through UVM's Spatial Analysis Lab, I work with a team to produce Vermont’s most accurate land cover data, utilize GIS software to digitize features, perform geoprocessing, interpret and analyze various imagery data, and manually correct mapping errors. This is a fast-paced environment that requires adherence to budget targets, operating procedures, and data standards.

Led students 13-18 on 2-week backpacking, mountain biking, climbing, and white-water rafting trips. Mentored students to enhance communication, creativity, critical thinking, self management, and resilience. Managed trip logistics including transportation, food, camp and park permits, health, and safety.

I worked with VTCCCs Coordinator and Burlington, VT transportation officials to meet the goals of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities program for the state of Vermont. As the Program Outreach Intern, I planned and conducted local events, social media campaigns, and assisted with projects to reduce petroleum usage across Vermont. I managed, communicated with, and educated 200+ stakeholders through e-newsletters and emails about related transportation legislation, regulations and new technologies. Additionally, I created fleet analysis presentations, providing ways in which stakeholders can affordably adopt more sustainable vehicles and equipment.

Through this research position, I worked with Farm 2 Plate and the State of Vermont to create a Food Security Plan for the state; researching how transportation affects food security, conducted through literature review and interviews to gather lived experiences.

Lived with and mentored girls age 13-14. Taught swimming, canoeing, and wilderness navigation skills to campers ages 6-15. Led hiking and canoeing trips in the White Mountain National Forest.

Taught water safety, swimming skills, strokes, and techniques to students 2-17 and adults of all abilities. Additionally, I managed logistics including communication, time management, scheduling, payment, and lesson plans.

Swim coach for kids ages 7-16. Taught strokes, technique, sportsmanship, teamwork, and confidence. Coordinated home meets and organized kids at away meets.
