• Provide strategic leadership and management of ongoing library and college related projects. • Cultivate relationships with the college’s strategic educational partnerships. • Provide statistical analysis and assessment for an array of library projects impacting the College and the City of Phoenix. • System administrator of Springshare products, Discovery system (Summon) ILS (SirsiDynix and Polaris) and other college related systems • Provide reference, research, and instructional support to college faculty and students. • Promote campus and community support for the library leveraging social media outlets.

•Foster an environment of collegiality, respect and teamwork that empowers faculty and staff members to accomplish the Library’s and Center for Teaching and Learning’s mission and strategic initiatives. •Develop and administer policies that support teaching, learning, assessment, and student success. •Provide strategic vision and direction on emerging technology trends. •Oversees division budgets, strategic action plans, staffing proposals, recruit and hire faculty and staff; assessment of faculty and staff performance evaluations, mentor and support professional development opportunities for faculty and staff. •Work collaboratively with the City of Phoenix Library Director to leverage partnership opportunities that better serves the South Mountain Community. •Work collaboratively with faculty to develop and promote services that support their evolving curricular and research needs. • Oversee library assessment practices; and knowledge of current issues and trends in information literacy instruction. • Data management of library services and resources that support library usage of student and community- at- large populations. • Survey development, data collection and analysis in determining College and Community usage of library services and resources. • Address and resolve student and community complaints with respect to library operations.• Supervise classified and non-classified employees. • Establish benchmarks using industry best practices.• Research, present, and publish to the scholarly body of knowledge within information science and social and behavioral science areas. • Chair and participate in committees as assigned.

• Project manager and administrator for the library's content management system and data analytic system (LibAnalytics) Prepare data analysis and trend forecasting. • Project management leadership for information and instructional technology related assignments. • Create, integrate, and support Web 2.0 technologies into the college’s teaching and learning environment, includes support and development of library web pages. • Participate in department budget, staffing and operational decision making process. • Teach courses in Information Studies that utilize various instructional technologies. • Teach information literacy classes that support the college’s general education learning outcomes. Provide face-to-face, and virtual reference, research, and instructional services to library patronage.

• Teach upper division public administration courses that includes Introduction to Public Administration (PADM 301) and Public Sector Communication (PADM302W).• Develop learning assessments that demonstrate student learning outcomes of course curriculum and overall institutional learning outcomes. • Develop course materials using a variety of instructional technologies. Utilize Blackboard course management system, web apps, and open education resources. • Mentor and supervise students.

• Teach a variety of undergraduate Political Science courses including: Democratization, Problems of Democracy, Current Issues in International Politics, and Current Political / Public Policy Issues. • Develop learning assessments using a variety of instructional technologies. • Utilize course management systems, and Web 2.0 technologies. • Research, present, and publish to the scholarly body of knowledge within social science areas.

• Researched and prepared a reorganizational analysis and plan for Arizona Department of Public Safety’s Facilities Unit. • Determined the unit’s strengths and challenges using interviews, time and motion studies, agency data and documents, state procurement practices, and comparative state best practices, in determining recommendations for how the department should proceed in specific operations to its Board of Directors.
