Waterkeeper Alliance connects and supports a global network of more than 170 grassroots clean water advocates from the San Francisco Bay to the Ganges in India. By capitalizing on the collective intelligence of the world's most passionate water stewards, the Alliance is forming our earth’s foremost force protecting your RIGHT to clean water. These folks continue to inspire me by their examples of commitment, courage and intellect. While at Waterkeeper, I served in both Development and Communications. I was a contributing author and lead editor on a report on mercury emissions from coal-based utilities; and I edited, illustrated and desktop published “Understanding Alternative Technologies for Animal Waste Treatment: A Citizen’s Guide to Manure Treatment Technologies.” As Development Manager, I managed the budgeting process and audits for a budget that more than doubled in size and I helped to raise more than $700,000 through strategic grant writing.
