Creative Director
CurrentCreative Direction: • Responsible for the creation, concept and design of all integrated marketing materials including print, digital, collateral, apparel and expo activities to communicate the mission of CAF. • Develop and design overall creative branding to support the foundation’s events: San Diego Triathlon Challenge, Million Dollar Challenge Bike Ride, foundation galas, camps/clinics and fundraising programs.• Develop creative to support marketing strategies for fundraising campaigns.• Oversee all asset creation, management, and distribution for maximum impact and reach.• Plan, art direct photo shoots and manage freelance photographers.• Hire, manage and art direct freelance designers.Marketing Management:• Develop creative to support CAF strategic plan and implement marketing plan.• Ensure materials and communications reach the target market and within budget.• Partner with the Events, Fundraising, Business Development and Programs departments to promote and achieve program and event goals and objectives.Merchandising: • Design all apparel including tri kits, cycling kits, hats, socks, tees, etc.• Design event swag including medals, bags, waterbottles, etc.• Partner with manufacturing vendors to ensure merchandise is on-brand and within budget.Brand Management: • Maintain the CAF brand integrity by regulating the use CAF’s logos, messaging and imagery, upholding brand identity and quality and ensuring an emotional connection with the target audience. • Update and refresh CAF brand framework.Vendor, Sponsor and Partner Relations: • Ensure CAF brand and logo consistency with partners. • Develop and maintain cohesive and positive relationships with graphic designers, web developers, photographers, videographers, printers, apparel partners and other vendors.• Cultivate sponsor and partner relationships as needed.
