As the Director of Donor Relations at Families First, I lead the development and implementation of comprehensive donor engagement strategies to support our mission of building resilient families so all children can thrive. In this role, I focus on cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with our donors, ensuring their ongoing commitment to our impactful programs and initiatives.My responsibilities include managing the annual fund and planned giving programs, where I strategically plan and execute campaigns that increase donor acquisition, retention, and contribution levels. I work closely with the Chief Development Officer to structure and manage a calendar of donor stewardship activities, ensuring that our supporters feel appreciated and connected to our mission.I also collaborate with the Engagement & Events Manager to organize donor events and volunteer opportunities, and I represent Families First at various community events to enhance our visibility and foster new donor relationships. In addition, I oversee the management of in-kind gifts and ensure accurate record-keeping through our donor database, utilizing data analytics to identify trends and opportunities for growth.My role is integral to aligning donor relations activities with the overall goals of the organization, and I am passionate about working closely with our development team, executive leadership, and program staff to drive meaningful impact.
