I created shared value between the private sector and the public sector to achieve health impact for PSI's beneficiaries and financial impact for corporate partners so that sustainable investment could be achieved.- Developed PSI’s Global Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy strategy leading to a 600% increase ($2 million to $12 million per year) in corporate partnership support. - Prospected, fostered and stewarded partnerships with more than 10 new corporations across financial investment, pro-bono engagement and marketing and influence support. Partners included: Accenture, Astra Zeneca, Alere, Exxon Mobil, Novo Nordisk, Merck, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, SC Johnson, Unilever and Vodafone. - Devised the ‘Zika Corporate Response’ fund in early 2016, leading to $750,000 of monetary and commodity support within the first 48 hours. Leveraging of this fund gained support from traditional government donors resulting in a total fund of more than $4 million.- Created PSI’s ‘Partnership in Practice’ curriculum for the development of stronger partnership practices within the 9,000 strong global PSI workforce to develop and sustain partnerships across offices in more than 50 countries.

An opportunity to use my marketing skills to make real change for good today:- Directed the Government of Botswana’s national HIV Prevention communications campaigns to engender reduced HIV prevalence via consistent condom usage and a reduction in concurrent sexual partners.- Developed from script level through to production the first Botswana edutainment local TV show, ‘Morwalela’, which continues to run on local Botswana TV.- Led a PEPFAR/CDC funded, 5 year, $4 million project to communicate the benefits of safe male circumcision via above the line and community communications campaigns to help reduce new HIV infections.- Designed national condom campaigns for the market leading ‘Lovers Plus’ condom brand, then in need of a brand overhaul to encourage consistent and correct usage in young men.

Directed agency teams across four countries to provide national and regional campaigns that sold products and changed attitudes:- Directed the Unilever North East Asia team across three regional brands - LUX, Hazeline and Lipton Tea. This included the development of Hollywood celebrity ambassador strategies, through the line marketing campaigns and new brand positionings. From 2006 – 2008, all agency teams under my direction received performance incentives from Unilever for marketing and sales success. - “Helped mouths stay cleaner” by launching the Johnson & Johnson Listerine brand into the South China market, where it became market leader despite minimal communications support and limited distribution. - Successfully won the Kellogg’s cereal business pitch in Greater China and developed the company’s market entry strategy. - Led the Ford China team while working closely with US senior management to build the Ford brand and devise communications for all imported Ford vehicles into China.
