I was a naughty kid; spent a lot of time being grounded and I used that alone time to be creative. I started a neighborhood newspaper (The Weekly Racer) while confined to the house. Before long I had successfully negotiated ad placement in exchange for a 50% reduction in printing fees from the local small-town printer, sold monthly subscriptions door to door and recruited contributors (most of them adults) to place ads/write articles. Later, I joined my high school debate team, discovering my passion for the art of persuasion. I realized how easily transferable these skills were to a career in Sales and Marketing while still attending college. I started my 2nd company 6 months after graduation at age 23. I ran with that, while coaching a nationally competitive debate team, until I was recruited to join a company and after that, I went on to hold a variety of high-level positions at some cool companies. The 3rd company I started, Capstone Calling, kept me busy and smiling for over 13 years now but it also gave me a ton of different opportunities, including meeting the team at Full Sail Partners. At Full Sail Partners my job is to generate new software business, sell consulting projects, provide demos and manage lead generation. The Full Sail Partners culture is inclusive, supportive, and fun. I couldn't ask for a better work experience and am thrilled that my career has aligned with their success. I have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Marquette and can build cool things with Legos, when my kids don't hog them. Speaking of kids, I love watching my six kids play and exploring the world with them through unschooling. I am a good cook (but not as good as my dad) and although I don't indulge anymore, once I won an award for an intoxicated karaoke performance of Proud Mary in a deserted northern Wisconsin supper club... twas a pretty major award, just like the leg lamp in A Christmas Story.I care about the world and people around me. I am obsessed with my wife, Jenna. I collect tattoos and worship body art. I am a good listener and honest. I make mistakes often. I am relentless, in a friendly way. I have little shame. And, oddly enough, I LOVE cold calling.
