In November I started translating captions for TED translators as a volunteer. I have been working mainly with translation and subtitling of videos from English into Italian. This experience is giving me the opportunity to continue my work in the field of audiovisual translation and to improve my skills, while also contributing to TED's mission of spreading informative content.

At GetTransfer.com I was in charge of exploring and attracting new carriers in target regions making calls (cold leads), negotiating, business correspondence; at the same time I reactivated business relations with less active partnerships. I also handled the onboarding of new partners and process documents. This experience gave me the opportunity to improve many different skills, such as communication, negotiation and problem solving.

I worked as a Trial lesson manager for the online English school Skyeng for a couple of months, during which I had the opportunity to improve my language and teaching skills. Here I was in charge of conducting introductory English lessons for potential Italian clients, while also presenting the school and platform and selling lesson packages.

In 2020 I completed an intership for Concorto film festival, where I was in charge of transcripting, translating, and subtitling short movies from English into Italian. During this experience I was able to put into practice my language and translation skills and I also had the opportunity to learn how to use subtitling tools and programs.
