I have held multiple "hats" within Lee Health. I started as a Medical Assistant and moved to Patient Outreach, auditing medical charts to identify Care Gaps. Once Care gap closed, I would resubmit the claim to the insurance companies. I achieved a QuickWin with Diabetic Care Gaps by improving the Care Gaps from the upper 30% down to low 20% and was able to present my achievements to a System Wide Lean quarterly meeting.I am now a Float Medical Assistant and I travel to all Lee Physician Group IM/FP practices, all Lee Physician Group Specialties practices, and hospitals. I have learned a lot by floating to different practices and hospitals, which gives me an advantage. I am well versed in all.I have graduated from FSW in May 2020 from the Medical Billing and Coding certificate and I am a certified CCS through Ahima.I will be obtaining my AS in Health Information Technology. I will be graduating from the program December 2020 and RHIT exam to be follow in 2021.I also am an owner and Operations Manager at KAD CAM Management.
