Managed a team to deliver ICT Transition Assurance, Configuration Management, Disaster Recovery Planning and governance and ICT Service Delivery Process improvement. Responsible for the Change Management Governance within the ICT environment in Brisbane City Council. Ensuring new IT services are transitioned effectively, changes do not adversely impact the business customers and successful deployment of large implementations.The role has included business process improvements in change and transition management. Project Managing the implementation of the Service Oriented Architecture approach in Council. The project includes implementing the Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Services Bus, SOA Governance and Capability across the organisation. To test the implementation, the project will also deliver 4 business projects.

This role involved managing a technical team involved in developing integration documentation across Council's complex Customer Services technologies. This included the systems for Online Transactions and our Call Centre.

This project delivered the Online Transactions and internal system updates to allow Council to take Cat Registrations as now required by the Animal Management Act. The updates included automating the ability for users to change their details online. The transaction spanned 3 systems, including Online with Credit Card transaction.One of the systems is.

As the project manager for the Online and Contact Centre Change Program, I led a team of 15 people to deliver ongoing business change to 2 of Council's key systems. This included Online Transactions and associated security and payment requirements.

Managed the multi-disciplined technical team delivering support and the change program for Council's Payroll and HR System. In this role, I introduced rigour to the release of patches, testing of patches, testing of batch processes and release planning.

Managed the Service Desk, inspiring the team of Service Desk consultants to take the Grade of Service from 60% to 85% in 6 months. The team also delivered a considerable improvement to the calls answered first time, accomplishing 65%.
