Key activities are:-• Ongoing design, development and delivery of learning materials and supporting products;• Daily service around technical and practical application (both written and verbal);• Researching to inform the transformation and cultural models for delivery;• Training delivery for middle management and front line staff;• Coaching and bespoke delivery for senior and SCS colleagues; and• Establishing and maintaining multi route communications. This resulted in highly effective delivery and support model, with a learning prospectus (including delivery) recognised externally and cross government as one of best in public sector.;Timely and effective communication that support deployment and transformation within the business delivery arms.

Renovating my new georgian home.

Involved in the initial setting up of the DWP Lean Academy. This included:-Developing communications strategy and designing intranet pages. Also fulfilling 'Ad hoc' requirements from the Lean Community and facilitating Leadership events. Organising data cleanse of Lean capability MI within the Department to underpin the procurement of Lean e-portal for accurate and virtual data capture to help facilitate the procurement of the Lean Portal for accurate data capture.Supported training/coaching and mentoring of staff to directly contribute to delivery of internal capability targets for Lean Experts and Practitioners.Significantly progressed personal learning in line with Continuous Lean Development, achieving Expert status Dec 08.

Pitch side volunteer for the Ruby World Cup at the Millennium Stadium. Tasks included:-Collecting team sheetsWitnessing 'toss of the coin' and reporting to Event teamObtaining match stats and man of the match nominationResponsibility for Flag Bearers (coaching and ensuring perfect execution of duties)Informing Event team of all substitutions during each fixture, for crowd and media broadcast.Liaison between Event team and pitch side activities.

Operational Manager of a team of 50 staff processing claims to benefit for vulnerable people. Successfully improved performance reducing the percentage of outstanding cases reduced significantly, improving customer service significantly.Used flexibility of staff to increase capacity and reduce numbers of outstanding claimsLed working party for organisational restructure of Wales DBC, consulting with relevant stakeholders, identifying and deploying key roles and effectively communicating requirements.Effectively managed HR issues.Freedom of information (FOI) lead for DCS, liaising with DWP head office to help deliver to tight timescales.Encouraged and developed staff in a variety of ways.

Disabled Persons Advisor role involved auditing, assessing, procuring specialist equipment and dealing with issues arising.Extensive engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
