I concluded my secondary education at Our Lady and St. Patrick's College Knock in the summer of 2022, which was the end of 6 years of growth, development, and formation of bonds which will hopefully stand the test of time. Academia was my main focus while there, and with the culture they fostered, I was able to develop a hard-working and diligent disposition that has carried me since.My work experience comes from my time as a cafe assistant at Avoca Belfast. Because of it's more generalized nature, I was able to develop and build upon a wide range of transferable skills that will be of great help to me in future, be it the remainder of University or further ahead in my professional career. The high intensity environment was something that has made me far more adaptable than I would have been otherwise, which will serve to aid me in any future scenarios.Currently, I'm a second year BSc Finance student at Queen's University Belfast. The experience itself has been an entirely new learning curve, with the increase in onus on you to be properly organized rather than relying on a school structure a noticeable change in pace. The high standard of teaching quality and constant learning opportunities have only further inspired me to continue to strive for more.My career in finance is still very much in its infancy, but the new connections and and companies that I have interacted with only help me to be excited about what more is to come.
