About Cathal Feehan
I have a Bachelor of Business (level 8) degree in Sport and Exercise Management from MTU Cork. I graduated in the Summer of 2024 with a First Class Honours (1.1).I am currently working as a coach for School Fitness Ireland. My role is to run PE programmes in primary and secondary schools in Cork. I mainly coach Taekwon-Do, gymnastics, boxercise, self-defence and general fitness. Over the summer months I manage and lead School Fitness Ireland activity camps for children. Throughout my studies and work experience, I have developed excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills through the various solo and group tasks and assignments I have undertaken. Since a very young age, I have always had a passion for sport and fitness. I have participated in Taekwon-Do since the age of six and have played soccer with my local club and school in the past. My love for sport combined with my interest in business when I was in school were the factors that influenced my decision to pursue a degree in Sport and Exercise Management and to work as a coach with School Fitness Ireland.
