As a dedicated Quantity Surveyor having recently completed my MSc in Quantity Surveying at the Technological University of the Shannon: Midwest, I bring a well-rounded background in construction management, logistics, and technical education. My academic journey, coupled with hands-on experience across diverse projects, has equipped me with valuable skills in project documentation, subcontractor management, and cost estimation.I launched my teaching career after earning a Bachelor of Technology in Materials and Architectural Technology from the University of Limerick. I specialized in delivering technical subjects such as Woodwork, Technical Graphics, and Construction Studies through the medium of Irish to students aged 12 to 18. I then transitioned into the construction sector when I moved to London, where I took on key roles in logistics and site management. I have since then made the decision to undertake a Msc in Quantity Surveying with the intention of branching into this field. I’m particularly passionate about renewable energy solutions and sustainable practices in construction. I have recently concluded my research on the factors influencing the deployment of solar PV panels on Irish farms, contributing to the country's renewable energy targets.With certifications in SMSTS, Safe Pass, and CPCS 360 Excavator, along with practical software skills in MS Excel, Cubit, and SolidWorks, I am eager to connect with industry professionals to collaborate on innovative projects and contribute to a more sustainable future.
