Formal education and personal hobbies have allowed for the development of several skills such as teamwork, leadership, group management, attention to detail and presentation/ public speaking skills. DONEGAL • SEPTEMBER 2016 – MARCH 2021• Role: Kitchen Porter• Duties: Washed delph, cutlery, cooking equipment, and the kitchen daily, deep cleaned weekly, responsible for stock rotation, assisted chefs in cooking, baking, and serving during busy carvery lunches or functions, and filtered/changed the oil in the fryers daily.• THE ARDILUAN HOTEL • TAYLOR’S HILL, CO. GALWAY • AUGUST 2021 – CURRENT DAY• Role: Kitchen Porter• Duties: Washed delph, cutlery, cooking equipment, and the kitchen daily, deep cleaned weekly, responsible for stock rotation, signed off on and put away deliveries, helped chefs with daily cooking such as mashed potatoes, soups, gravy, and with food prep, and filtered/changed the oil in the fryers daily.Key Skills:• Teamwork: Education, current and past work experience, and hobby have taught the ability to work as part of a team being in a subordinate, collaborative, and/or leadership role.• Sport and Exercise Equipment: Continuous lab practical and field-based practical, both in a researcher and as a practitioner role, throughout a 4-year degree, educated in the use and maintenance of equipment for testing aspects of athletic performance and body composition.• IT Skill & Data Analysis: Lab practical, examinations, tutorials, and projects have allowed development of skills in this area using software such as SPSS and Excel.• Working Under Pressure: Formal education, experience of working as part of four- and five-star kitchens, and the level of competition achieved in the hobby, accustomed to functioning in stressful environments.• Attention to Detail: The education, work experience, and hobby allows for little margin for error so when given a task or project, gives full attention and completes it in the given time frame.
