BetBright is a digital entertainment company that provides an innovative gaming platform across the sportsbook and casino markets. Working in an agile scrum team of 6 for projects in the sportsbook and casino products. Designing, prototyping, coding and performance/bug fixing for key features of the system . Producing system and application architecture documentation. Also responsible for releasing and trouble-shooting on the live AWS production environment.Some key projects:* Part of the team which implemented the inplay live betting service. Some of the features involved were 3PP integration over various protocols (AMQP, TCP), event driven data processing, real-time updates via web-socket protocol.* Designed and implemented the revamped casino service. Developing software for the OSS, ENIQ, Navigator and TOR troubleshooting and trending tool. The tool comprises of two main components: 1) A collection component for the collection of raw data from the systems (e.g. Application defined interfaces, application logs and system logs). 2) The processing & presentation component for the processing of collected data and presentation of that data useful information in a graphical, tabular or other format via a web interface.The collection component is developed in Java J2SE, Bash, Perl and Python. The data warehouse and presentation Layer of the Presentation component is written in Perl and PHP on an Apache web server, with a MySql back end database.Key responsibilities include:* Development, testing and maintenance of a quality code.* Contribute to all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle, from specification and design, development, integration, rollout and maintenance* Planning stories for iterations by priority.* Executing user stories.* Code Reviews* Provides updates at daily scrums* Resolves issues and identifies approaches to solutions* Translating customer requirements into new features in existing tool set or development of entirely new tools.* Participates in architectural design reviews* Strict adherences to project delivery against agreed timelines.* Provides support to other developers * Mentoring and skills transfer to new employee’s to ensure they got up and running quickly and added value to the team early. * Working closely with System Test on resolution of software bug

As a Delivery Management Engineer I worked with the delivery and release management of the OSSRC and ENIQ software products. Key responsibilities include:* Developing, troubleshooting and maintenance of the delivery and build handling (i.e. automated nightly build (Perl) scripts, Presentation layer of Media content, build content and delivered application content).* Debugging faults and implementing fixes* Configuration, support and test of the automated nightly product build.* Team lead responsibilities.* Attend daily status meetings to discuss build issues impacting the quality of the release.* Work closely with application designers to achieve quality deliverable software* Delivery Management point of contact for Test Analysis Group* Mentoring new employees to ensure that they got up and running quickly and added value to the team early.
