Tailoring sales pitches to suit guests of various backgrounds and to make use of the wide-range of opportunities provided by the Irish Distillers portfolio.• Daily stock take to keep inventory levels sufficient to cover the high volume of sales and to ensure high-value goods were always available, maintaining the distillery's reputation as a place to go for rare whiskey.• Provided support to the tour and bar departments of the distillery to facilitate guests having an experience to remember for the right reasons. The quality of service provided at Bow Street resulted in the distillery winning World's Leading Distillery Tour at the World Travel Awards 2018.

• Conversational English & basic grammar classes taught to employees of Air France in order to increase their participation in meetings with KLM counterparts. Reported to the head of training at the Air France campus in Toulouse on progress to ensure employees in most need of classes were attending.• Management of a group of 40 adult students which was required to be broken down into teaching groups of 2-4 students of similar ability. Development of a curriculum to teach to these groups.• Provided learning opportunities outside of the classroom by volunteering time before work to facilitate English language coffee mornings.

Following on from the voluntary coaching I did with Portlaoise AFC between 2011 and 2016, I was employed by the FAI as a coach. This position required large amounts of planning for sessions and adaptation for players of different ages and qualities. It also meant that I developed leadership skills in order to control the large group of players that I had in my group. It was imperative to learn the importance of being a facilitator in this role, that is to say, making sure that my groups had everything they required to learn at their disposal, with me being there to help and guide them, as opposed to ordering and directing them. I displayed problem-solving skills in this role too, particularly in my dealings with concerned parents and guardians of players. Resolving their issues and concerns demanded a sensitive approach. I had to reconcile the conflicting demands of the individual with the needs of the team, using the skills I had developed on coaching courses as the tools to do so.
