Since 2007, I have been employed with companies that educate patients on insurance and provide coordination of care. I am currently working as a Prior Authorization Specialist at OrthoIndy. I process authorizations for orthopedic surgeries and interventional pain management. I've worked as a referral coordinator for Our Health. Previous to that I worked as a Disease Management Coordinator for Care Select (Advantage Health Solutions), where I worked with members to complete health risk assessments, provide health coaching, and many other duties. I am a people-person, and enjoy helping people of all cultures, races, and socio-economic levels.I graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Child Development and Family Studies (social work). I also have a Human Resources Certificate from IUPUI. I enjoy volunteer work, especially helping children, and have volunteered at the Children’s Museum, Children’s Bureau, Head Start, and WFYI Public Radio. I have a good sense of humor, good computer skills, and an outgoing, positive personality.
