Hoteluxury later pivoted to become Bits of Health/ENERGYbits a national brand of premium algae tablets sold to consumers through spas, luxury hotels and wellness professionals. As Founder and CEO, I did all the market research, wrote the business plan, hired the team, oversaw all operations, created award winning collateral and built the company into a national brand. In December 2007 the company ceased operations and was renamed/relaunched as Bits of Health that eventually became ENERGYbits Inc.

I exceeded my sales targets every year and was the USA sales office with the highest sales results for the first three years of operations. I successfully brought billion dollar companies who were planning an expansion into the EU, into our region in the UK.

As Vice President Business Development, I wrote and led the product development of this early stage comany that was using a blend of internet, interior designers and retail to sell high end decor to the consumers. I helped identify technology partners, wrote the marketing strategy, identified strategic partners and sales partners.

I was one of the first executives at this early stage online company that was building an online portal through which artists could sell their original pieces of work to consumers. As Chief Marketing Officer, I built the full roll-out marketing strategy and budget for the launch of the company and its website. Unfortunately the company closed due to funding difficulties before the site was ever launched.

As Founder and CEO of this internet start-up that was an e-commerce and portal to sell home furnishings, I developed the company & selected all our technology. Our company won a business plan competition which resulted in significant media coverage in New England but the company was never funded

I turned around this small unprofitable regional interior design trade publication and repositioned it as a successful upscale consumer magazine that was sold in bookstores nationally & internationally. In under three years, I tripled revenue, increased circulation by 500%, cut costs by 50%, built national brand awareness, created new revenue streams, established profitability, built a national sales team as well as a new office. I oversaw all advertising sales and managed a staff of 20. I was a Director on the Board.

At this world producer of computer trade shows (including Comdex), I managed our 4 Windows World shows in North America, where I oversaw a staff of 50, developed all marketing strategies/budgets for my shows & directed all operations/marketing & managed our alliance with Microsoft. A merger eliminated my position.

As the Vice President of International Marketing based in our New York City and then our Boston offices, I created and executed market entry and market expansion strategies for Canadian companies entering the USA marketplace. My industry specialites were luxury and design related companies (fashion, furniture etc) as well as high technology, media and multimedia companies. My organization operated 18 offices worldwide with 6 offices in the USA. I was based in New York CIty and then was promoted to more senior position in our Boston office.

This is the third largest theatre in Canada. When I joined them, they were called Toronto Free Theatre and were committed to mounting theatrical productions either written or directed by a Canadian. Toronto Free Theatre also produced "Dream in High Park" - a free Shakespearean play each summer that was mounted out doors in High Park. Toronto Free Theatre merged with the Canadian Stage Company in the 1990's and subsequently changed their name to CanStage. I was their first Fund Raiser and created fund raising programs that are still in use 25 years later. I raised more funds each year than had been budgeted for.

As one of this museum's Fund Raiser's, I was based in Toronto worked directly with and reported to the Board of Directors to raise capital from institutions, individuals and events. The Board Member I reported to was The Honorable Judd Buchanan, who had been appointed to the Canadian Cabinet by Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau and in 2002 was made an Officer of the Order of Canada

This is the largest and major theatre in Vancouver, Canada that mounts live theatrical productions. I was their first Fund Raiser and was hired to create fund raising strategies and events. My fund raising programs always exceeded their goals. I joined this theatre after completing the Arts Management program at the Banff School of Fine Arts and left them to join Toronto Free Theatre in Toronto, Ontario Canada
