Design takes function and imbues it with meaning. This harmony of logic and emotion is what fascinates me as a designer, and I am passionate about the power of design to influence the viewer for good. I have always been interested in the arts, including music, creative writing, and illustration; however, I am also intrigued by the formulaic, logical, and purposeful structure of the sciences. For a time as a child, I wanted to become a fashion designer—I was drawn to it because of the balance that it created between beauty and function. During my senior year of high school, I discovered graphic design, and something clicked for me. I knew that I could use design to fuse my love of organization and structure with my interest in beauty and the arts. I earned my bachelors degree in Graphic Design in April 2021 and have since joined RUMOR Advertising where I currently work as a Senior Designer.I have had the opportunity to work in several facets of the design industry—I have worked as an in-house designer, as an agency designer, and as a freelance designer. Through this background, I have found my love for print design and branding, and I hope to expand my experience in these fields and in others in the future.
