Second Congregational is an active church. Worship 2x a week - Sunday 10 am, Thursday 6:30 pmFree Pancake Breakfast Sunday 9 amweekly Community Clean Up: Saturday, 8am - 9:30 am the Church is open for those who would like to take part in taking care of the community by cleaning up the trash that litters our streets. Our Church supports by offering: a cup of Coffee/tea, forming groups to go out with, gloves, trash bags, someone to call if items such as glass or needles are found and disposal of the trash returned to the Church. Groups will be formed at 8 am and go out to the area of their choice in the Downtown area. The Bells of the Church will ring at 9:20 am reminding everyone to return with the trash to be disposed of. A small but mighty church posed for growth. All are welcome to join us for a Hymn Sing the first Sunday of each Month at 3pm. Be sure to bring something for the local pantry, they need paper goods as well as shelf food. ie canned or dryRegular Services are at 5pm on Sundays. Sunday School at 4:30 pm. Choir practice is 4pm.

While I was director, Joyful Harvest grew from having afterschool programs 3 times a week during the school year to moving to a new space and having afterschool programs 5 days a week, Summer programs in the mornings and youth activities in evenings. We also started a Coffee House once a month for adults and occasional special events for Moms. Currently I serve as Chair of the Board of Directors. The begining of 2012 we moved again to an even larger space where children and youth are attending this wonderful center that offers a safe place to be during the after school hours.
