I am senior nursing student at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA anticipating graduation with a BSN in December, 2021. I grew up in Northern Virginia. I am pursing a career in the field of nursing, because the vast opportunities that come with this degree intrigues me. I have not always known what I wanted to do, but I did know I wanted to help people and I think going into nursing gives me the opportunity to so in more ways than one. I have never been able to sit still and I have always been curious. I think with nursing I will be able to explore the obstacles in healthcare and work to resolve them while impacting patient's lives along the way. I do not just want to care for people who may be sick, but I want to provide healthcare to those around the world that may not have direct access. ​I am also a member of the James Madison University Club Field Hockey Team. I have learned to balance school with my love for the sport of field hockey because I believe being apart of a team is an essential tool in both my social and professional life.
