In my role as Executive Director, I am tasked with a variety of essential responsibilities, including the development of schedules and lesson plans, as well as organizing outings and field trips, while ensuring that parental consent is secured for special activities. I actively engage in discussions to address concerns raised by parents or staff as they arise. Additionally, I oversee all facets of advertising, marketing, and accounting for the daycare.I am responsible for securing and maintaining all necessary licenses and certifications, ensuring they are consistently up to date. I also arrange meetings with parents to discuss daycare routines and communicate any scheduling or procedural changes. Furthermore, I implement new policies and procedures while supervising the daycare staff.During the hiring process, I ensure that all required background checks—including criminal history, child abuse clearances, and fingerprinting—are completed promptly and in compliance with established policies. My duties also encompass managing payroll, tracking time and attendance, processing bills and expenses, liaising with vendors, and handling invoicing.
