With over 30 years of experience in international development and sustainability, Catherine is a Director at Agulhas Applied Knowledge, an employee-owned firm that works with donors, multilaterals, foundations, and CSOs to deliver high-quality knowledge services. She leads a diverse and committed team in evaluation, research, and knowledge development, with a focus on climate and sustainability issues. She is also a champion of the Unlearning Team, promoting justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion across Agulhas and its work, and a member of the Climate Hub, supporting climate justice for a just transition.Catherine works to enhance climate action and enabling more climate-resilient societies. She is a Commissioner on the Essex Climate Action Commission, advising on the transition to net zero emissions. She has also contributed to the book '2052: A Forecast for the Next 40 Years', predicting Scotland's systemic shift to renewable energy and the rise in calls for independence.
