Identifying and incorporating the needs of teachers and students drove our creative process and made for a very insightful development process. • Curriculum design and development of Science4Us, a K-2 digital science curriculum built on the 5E Instructional Model that incorporates online and offline interactions for students, digital student notebooks that can be reviewed and commented on by the educator, digital and print assessments, online glossary, and extensive teacher support. • Development of all professional development components in multiple formats including: in person workshops, embedded program video, embedded program text and "how to" videos and text • Analysis of past and current national and high achieving state science standards for content guidance and integration • Analysis of Common Core State Standards in Math and Language Arts for integration

To review the cognitive and developmental appropriateness of the program. 2. To review the quality of the embedded professional development components provided by the program. 3. Obtain data on the usability and feasibility of the program in traditional and Title I elementary schools.

While working for the College of Education at Florida Atlantic University I was a Project Coordinator for two multi-year grant projects: Science IDEAS and a Vocabulary Transfer study.
