- Responsible for Designing Chaps Womens Sweater Collection. Contributed to $15M (35%) retail growth of sweater business between 2010-2015- Research and Shop to identify seasonal trends/direction; Create trend booklet for Sales/Merch Team- Manage, Mentor, and Guide the work process and development of Assistant Designer and Design Interns- Develop original swatches, prototypes, and artwork to support seasonal concepts thru local knitters, overseas factories, and CAD service- Partner w/ Tech Design and Overseas Office on initial development to ensure design vision, fit, and construction are clearly communicated and executed (responsible for detailed Illustrator flats, construction and fit/spec call-outs, all yarn and trim info for BOM, and any accompanying artwork, ref swatches/samples)- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate work flow/communication, meet margin/mark-up goals, ensure timely execution (adhere to calendar), follow line plan needs, and react to business needs as they evolve- Conduct all Sweater Fittings w/ Tech Design team from first proto to final/bulk approval (Missy, Petite, and Womens sizes)- Lead all sweater sketch and proto reviews to Brand President, SVP of Design, and cross-functional teams- Work with overseas agents and yarn vendors in HK on sourcing/developing novelty yarns, stitches, patterns, and tailoring samples- Worked as Associate Sweater Designer for Lauren by Ralph Lauren from 2005-2007, launched new lines Chaps (2005), Lauren Jeans Co. (2006), and American Living (2007 & re-launch 2013)- Honored w/ Presidential Award for launch of Chaps Womenswear (2005), 3rd Fiscal Quarter Creativity Award (2007), Presidential Award for Launch of American Living at JCPenny's (2007), Presidential Award for re-launch of American Living at Macy's (2013), & Legacy Award (2015)
