As Project Executive for the Aviation’s Redevelopment Programs, responsible for the JFK Redevelopment Program valued at ~$16B, EWR Redevelopment Program valued at ~$5B, and LGA AirTrain Program valued at ~$2B. The Redevelopment Programs include terminals, airfield, roadways, parking garages and Airtrain projects in various phases of planning, procurement and construction. Within the portfolio multiple delivery methods being used from traditional design bid builds, design builds, separate operations and maintenance contracts, full DBOM contracts, as well as public-private partnerships with Developers and Airlines that included DBFOM structures. Providing leadership for the Programs including interfacing with local and state politicians as well as the Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of the Port Authority. Direct management of the various Program Directors for each of the Redevelopment Programs and guidance and leadership of the full team of internal staff and consultants on the Programs as well as the matrixed support staff from other Port Authority departments. Responsible for the capital planning process and budgeting and costs control for all Redevelopment programs

As Program Director, responsible for approximately US $4b in future capital improvements, including the EWR Terminal A Redevelopment program to replace the current Terminal A, as well as the future EWR AirTrain Replacement at Newark Liberty International Airport. Terminal A program includes a new 1 million sq.ft. Terminal with 33 gates, 180 acres of airfield paving, new roadway network including 8 bridge structures and a 3,000 space parking garage. Providing leadership for the Program including interfacing with local and state politicians as well as the Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of the Port Authority. Manages the team of internal staff and consultants on the Program as well as the matrixed support staff from other Port Authority departments. Portfolio also includes Infrastructure Renewal Programs for Fuel Infrastructure and Electrical Infrastructure. Managing projects from project initiation thru delivery, including developing and presenting all necessary program documentation to move the projects through Port Authority process including gate reviews, Capital Program Oversight Committee reviews, board items etc. Participating in capital planning process and budgeting and costs control for all projects within portfolio, as well as the unmet needs of the AirTrain Replacement Program.

Manager of the Newark Liberty International Airport AirTrain for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Monitored the contract operator and maintainers daily performance. Oversaw that all inspections were performed in a timely fashion and corrective actions taken on internal findings as well as all findings of Structural Integrity Condition Inspections on the guideway. Ensured Safety and Security regulations were maintained. Planned and oversaw capital investments to the AirTrain system. Managed and communicated all emergency conditions which arose on the AirTrain. Developed new contract for the operation and maintenance of the system to be initiated in 2012 and completed procurement of operator and maintainer for the next ten-year period.

Responsible for the management and development of Newark based staff, marketing firm capabilities within the New York/New Jersey region and automated people mover capabilities nationwide, and the management and execution of project work. Responsible for business management of project profits, invoicing, and staff billability. As Project Manager controlled project budgets, schedule, and overall quality, and managed the work of all technical personnel involved in the projects. During tenure also worked in Australia, Las Vegas and San Francisco on innovative transit related procurements.

Managed transit engineering and architectural projects from concept through design and construction to turnover of the completed facility to operations. Responsible for engineering of Major Investment Studies and for Conceptual, Preliminary, and Final Designs of light rail transit projects, including contract plans, calculations, specifications, and cost estimates for track design.

Assigned as Assistant District Engineer to Dolakaha District of the Department of Drinking Water and Sewerage. Responsible for the survey, design and specification, cost estimation, and construction engineering of water supply and sanitation systems in the rural hills of Nepal.
