Working directly with both the Optometrist and the store manager, I assist customers face to face, over the telephone and via e-mail. Other duties include daily reconciling of branch accounts, cash handling, using Microsoft Word, Excel and Access to create forms, rosters, spreadsheets. and invoices as required.

The Uniform Centre specializes in uniforms and corporate career wear for companies of all sizes in the North Island. I worked directly with the store owners as part of a team, advising and assisting a varied customer base in the showroom, on the telephone and also at customer premises.

Precious Vessels is a ladies fashions store specializing in sizes 14 – 30. I worked directly with the store manager and my main duties included face to face customer advice and assistance, telephone orders and queries from suppliers, customers and also our Auckland stores.

As cabin crew for one of the largest charter airlines in the UK, I was responsible for the safety, security and welfare of 326 passengers on each flight. I was licensed to operate on Boeing Aircraft type 757-200, 767-200 and 767-300 both mid and long haul. Britannia had sales incentives for crew members to promote onboard sales. I have become top sales achiever for the entire company and have been one of the top 3 achievers for cabin crew based at Manchester Airport every month for a full summer season. I left Britannia in February 2004 to emigrate to New Zealand with my husband .

Broome and Wellington purchase greycloth worldwide and sell to European and overseas markets. I worked as an Import / Export manager and was responsible for the allocation and invoicing of stocks to Israel. I liaised with overseas agents and used Microsoft Word , Access and Excel daily. I requested information from various overseas shipping companies and resolved queries with customers directly. I also created the packing lists and sales invoices for the U.K. and European market, and the export Customs clearance invoices for Israel and America. Other duties included switchboard, general office administration and providing holiday cover throughout the office. I worked without supervision and reported directly to the senior partner.

My main duty was as senior cashier which included balancing of all branch cash. I dealt with the reconciliation of the branches’ income / expenditure accounts, foreign currency conversion, and assisted the lending department. I was also the branch liaison officer and a member of the branches’ problem solving team. As the branch co-ordinator for our sales targets I had to attend weekly meetings and give presentations to groups of staff. My other positions included senior training officer for new staff and staff / management liaison officer.
