My partner and I founded RockFrocks.com in June 2013. We are both fans of 50's style and decided to set up this website specialising is 50's and Rockabilly style clothing. Since we have started our lovely business has grown from strength to strength. We have recently opened a shop in Athy, Co. Kildare to make it even easier for the lovely ladies of Ireland to find that perfect outfit.

I learned some valuable skills at Yew Tree Promotions. I started off as a recruiter but developed into a role of office administrator as this was where my strengths were. My duties included payroll, organising sales executives with sales materials, maps, stationary and anything else that was needed. Managing office materials to ensure all stationary was stocked and never went out of stock.

Duties include compiling information weekly for newspaper advertisements, liaising with newspapers production teams in relation to layout and design. Meeting deadlines for advertisements going to print. Writing radio advertisements. Content management on company's main website also updating regularly content and products/product information on web store. Attending trade shows and designing print material for trade show events to target both B2B & B2C.

This role was primarily a customer service role which included dealing with customer queries and complaints both in person and by phone, meeting targets for different sections of the store, working the tills and also merchandising. It also involved getting feedback from customers and reporting to management with same. Counting and balancing tills at the end of day and comparing figures to that of the same time last year to see if targets have been met.

Here my duties varied from answering phones which involved getting as much information from the client and either helpping them from this or putting them through to the approperiate person. Audio typing which involved typing letters, drawing up contracts, wills etc.
