As National Facilities and Procurement Manager that reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer, I am responsible for Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments of all structural infrastructure. Ie (New Laboratory and Bleed rooms), with the necessary renovations and equipment needed for that site, and the maintenance and upkeeping of the organization’s buildings and sites throughout South Africa and procuring from a national level.I am a results-oriented person proficient in procurement and asset management. As the Procurement and Asset Management Officer for South Africa, with several years of experience in the dynamic NGO sector, I believe I could make a valuable contribution to furthering any company’s success and goals. I am experienced in sourcing and procuring both assets and services as required, in the most cost effective manner to the company as possible. I have procured, documented and issued assets for numerous projects and programs across South Africa since inception, and managed these assets while deployed in the field. I also run an effective loss control and replacement program, proactively managing lost, stolen or damaged equipment reported by the projects/programs, in order to maximise their productivity in remote, outlying areas.
